Nafplion Greece Wonders - Yacht Show Visit!

Visiting Greece....

One of the great aspects of my job is that I get to tour and visit some wonderful yachts. I do this so that I can personally recommend a yacht to a client – and I can honestly speak for the crew when I see how well I am taken care of, and catered to by them!

I just returned from the Mediterranean Yacht Show in Nafplion Greece, which was quite impressive. There were some wonderful large yachts at the show this year, and the wonderful Greek people embraced all of us with their warm smiles and never ending hospitality. I was also fortunate enough to combine a familiarization trip enroute back to Athens and was lucky to experience the unique beauty of the Islands off the Northeast Coast of the Peloponnesos! The gorgeous Islands included Spetses, Poros and Hydra – all must visits when chartering a yacht in Greece!

Some of my favourite yachts from this show and highly recommended include:

Motor Yacht O’Pari, 236 ft., which was the largest yacht in the show with 9 cabins and a crew of 20.

The 125’ Sailing Yacht Matina accommodates up to 20 guests in 8 cabins and is in top notch condition after her winter refit.

138 ft Motor Yacht Jaan - I was onboard with an award-winning chef and amazing crew of 9. Kostis was the winner of Master Chef II in 2013 and has appeared on several cooking shows.

The CHIEF ST EWARD – of NASSOS is an expert in pairing wines with all of ouramazing meals. The girls onboard kept our cabins and the rest of the yacht in tip top shape while cleaning up after a never ending presentation of delicious full course meals. Not only did the salads and entrees look like a colorful painting they were all so healthy and light. One afternoon the boys dove off the back of the boat to bring us fresh sea urchins to enjoy with our lunch.

I found it a pure joy to visit this beautiful area again and I love to be able to recommend these yachts to you and your families and / or friends for charter. I can say personally, that you will enjoy the experience!

The Aegean coast and islands are completely safe. Now that Turkey is being paid to provide haven for them they are much more settled come to Greece! The gods are calling out for you!
